Kaleb has been in Family DayCare during that time and I'm happy to say, despite some setbacks, that he's doing fantastically well and settling into the new care environment in record time! He is with a lovely Fillipino woman named Elsie who adores him. She looks after a brother and sister aswell as Kaleb gets on with them like he would his own brother and sister!
He is getting to be such a big boy now -- still tall and skinny, like his grandfather, but still holding onto those chubby thighs that I love so much. He is due for a ECHN in the coming few weeks so we will then officially know how tall/heavy he is. My guess would be 15kgs and 92cms. Time will tell if I'm right!
His language skills are improving every day and I can now understand the vast majority of what he says. His latest obsessive phrase is "What is that?" and "Quick!".. he especially likes to use "Quick!" when we're sitting in afternoon traffic on the way home.
He's been sleeping in his toddler bed for the entire month and on only one occasion has he tried to get out.. I think it had more to do with a nightmare he was having than for reasons of escapism just for the sake of it.
Kaleb loves to sit on the stairs
